日本文化の精神的な意識において、金色の富士山は単なる視覚的象徴ではなく、吉兆や神聖な加護、そしてあらゆるものの再生と希望を意味する。この作品において、芸術家は「光」と「金の富士」を超越的な精神の力として描き出し、恐怖と孤立、方向性を失った時代に、闇の中にあっても揺るがぬ強さと未来への光を求めて筆をとった。
厚く垂れ込めた雲を突き破って山頂を照らす一筋の金色の光。それは、希望が闇に勝ること、明晰が混沌を超えること、そして人間の不屈の意志が困難の中で輝きを放つことを象徴している。
さらに、この作品のために音楽家・小室哲哉氏が30分に及ぶ楽曲を作曲。視覚と聴覚、静と動が交錯し、アートの領域を越えたコラボレーションによって、時代を超えて響き合う精神の声が生み出された。

“Eternal Fuji” original painting is a monumental painting rendered in gold and ink, measuring 9.2 meters in width and 3.65 meters in height. It was created in 2022, a year when the world was deeply affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the spiritual consciousness of Japanese culture, a golden Mount Fuji is far more than a visual icon—it symbolizes auspicious fortune, divine protection, and the hope for renewal. In this work, the artist turns to both light and golden Fuji as timeless spiritual forces, seeking to offer guidance toward strength and illumination amid fear, isolation, and disorientation.
A beam of golden light pierces through heavy clouds to illuminate the summit of the mountain. This radiance represents the triumph of hope over darkness, clarity over confusion, and the unwavering strength of the human will in times of adversity.
Renowned composer Tetsuya Komuro created a 30-minute musical score specifically for this work. Through the fusion of image and sound, this cross-disciplinary collaboration transcends artistic boundaries and delivers a timeless voice—shared by artists across mediums—that speaks of resilience, light, and the enduring human spirit.
