永遠の富士山

『永遠の富士山』の原画は、金と墨によって描かれた幅9.2メートル・高さ3.65メートルに及ぶ壮大な作品であり、世界が新型コロナウイルスの脅威に覆われていた2022年に誕生した。
日本文化の精神性において、金色の富士山は単なる視覚的象徴ではなく、吉兆や神聖な加護、そしてあらゆるものの再生と希望を意味する。この作品では、芸術家は「光」と「金の富士」を超越的な精神の力として描き出し、恐怖と孤立、方向性を失った時代に、闇の中にあっても揺るがぬ強さと未来への光を求めて筆をとった。厚く垂れ込めた雲を突き破って山頂を照らす一筋の金色の光。それは、希望が闇に勝ること、明晰が混沌を超えること、そして人間の不屈の意志が困難の中で輝きを放つことを象徴している。
さらに、この作品のために音楽家・小室哲哉氏が30 分に及ぶ楽曲を作曲。視覚と聴覚、静と動が交錯し、アートの領域を越えたコラボレーションによって、時代を超えて響き合う精神の声が生み出された。

Eternal Fuji

The original painting Eternal Fuji is a monumental work rendered in gold and ink, measuring 9.2 meters wide and 3.65 meters high. Created in 2022—a year overshadowed by the global COVID-19 pandemic—it emerged as a response to a world gripped by fear, isolation, and uncertainty.

In the spiritual consciousness of Japanese culture, a golden Mount Fuji is more than a visual icon. It embodies auspicious fortune, divine protection, and the promise of renewal. In this work, the artist invokes both “light” and “golden Fuji” as transcendent spiritual forces—symbols of inner strength and enduring hope that quietly radiate amid darkness and confusion.

A single golden beam pierces the heavy clouds and illuminates the mountaintop. This moment of brilliance becomes a metaphor for the triumph of hope over despair, clarity over chaos, and the unyielding will of humanity to endure and rise, even in the face of overwhelming adversity.

Adding to this expression, renowned composer Tetsuya Komuro created an original 30-minute musical score specifically for the painting. Through this fusion of sight and sound, stillness and motion, a timeless dialogue unfolds—one that transcends the boundaries of traditional art. Together, image and music give rise to a voice of the spirit: a resonance that echoes across time, offering solace, strength, and a vision of light that endures.
